The Slingshot Luna V2 brings the proven performance DNA of the Misfit into a shorter, narrower platform tuned specifically for lighter riders. Why Youll Love It

Purpose-Built Control

The shorter length and sub-40 cm width make the Luna V2 easier for smaller riders to edge, redirect and control than a wider, conventionally sized freeride board.

Smooth, Forgiving Ride

A lighter-rider flex pattern helps absorb chop and reduces unnecessary stiffness, creating a comfortable ride that supports longer, more confident sessions.

Reliable Tracking

NACA Tech Channels and a single-concave hull help the board track securely, hold an edge and drive upwind without requiring excessive rider input.

Room to Progress

Friendly enough for developing riders but capable enough for freeride, freestyle and big-air progression, including first back rolls, board-offs and unhooked maneuvers.

Ride and Performance

• Narrow outline: improves leverage over the edge for easier control and a secure powered stance.
• Rider-specific flex: tuned for lighter loads to preserve comfort, response and usable rebound.
• Single-concave hull: provides predictable tracking, stable handling and strong upwind performance.
• NACA Tech Channels: guide water from the center toward the tips to reduce drag and improve directional grip.
• Versatile freeride character: supports cruising, carving, jumping and progressive freestyle riding.

Construction and Technology

Atomic Wood Core

Vertically laminated Paulownia creates the lively, responsive flex associated with Slingshot twintips while maintaining natural strength and long-term performance.

Sustainably Sourced Wood

The wood is sourced through suppliers certified by the Forest Stewardship Council for responsible forest management.

Singleshot Fusion Sidewalls

A one-piece urethane rail construction eliminates seams and transitions, creating a durable perimeter designed to withstand repeated riding and impacts.

Carbon Bedrock Inserts

Lightweight carbon-backed inserts increase pull strength while allowing the boards intended flex pattern to work with minimal interference.

NACA Tech Channels

Precision-cut channels manage water flow from the center toward the tips, helping improve tracking and reduce resistance through the water.

Single-Concave Hull

The proven bottom shape delivers straightforward handling, consistent grip and efficient upwind drive for both progressing and experienced riders.

Size and Specifications

Imperial measurements are approximate conversions. Published board weights may vary slightly due to normal manufacturing tolerances.

Choosing Your Size

Choose the 129 cm

Select the 129 for the most compact handling, quickest edge changes and easiest leverage. It is the natural choice for the smallest riders or anyone who prefers a highly responsive board.

Choose the 133 cm

Select the 133 when you want more planing surface, stability and low-end support while maintaining a narrow outline designed for lighter riders.

Size note: Kiteboard size also depends on rider preference, local wind, kite power and whether the board will be ridden with pads or boots. Contact Windance for personalized sizing help if you are between sizes.
