The Ozone Code V5 Kiteboard defines what a freeride twintip should be: smooth, lively and effortlessly fun. Part of the Ozone range, this twintip blends comfort and performance with precision engineering, helping intermediate to advanced riders ride with control, confidence and style in all conditions.

Building on the success of the V4, Ozone has refined every detail the V5 feels looser, faster and more playful underfoot while keeping its legendary smoothness and grip. Whether you’re boosting big, cruising chop, or carving turns, the Code V5 responds instantly.

Who It’s For

  • Discipline: All-round freeride kiteboarding
  • Level: Intermediate to advanced
  • Best for: Riders who want a smoother, looser, more forgiving freeride board as Ozone rider Jesse Richman puts it, “that loose and skatey feel… freeride freedom with control and power on tap”

Key Features

  • Balanced medium rocker and flex smooth over chop, soft on landings, and easy upwind
  • Hybrid fibreglass and carbon layup lightweight strength with a lively, reactive feel, with new carbon reinforcements in the V5 for a stiffer centre and extra pop
  • Progressive outline looser, skatier and more dynamic through turns than the V4
  • Swallow tips strong edge hold without locking in
  • Tri-spine double concave base grip, control and upwind efficiency
  • Refined tip shape no spray, clean carving, effortless control

Real-World Feel

The Code V5 is ultra-smooth and forgiving in messy water, yet instantly responsive when you push harder. Edging feels light and natural, while the new carbon-reinforced flex gives you more pop and energy. Whether you’re throwing big air, freeriding with friends, or working on transitions, it gives you the confidence to ride harder and progress faster. If you’re deciding between the Code and the Torque: the Code V5 is smoother, looser and more forgiving with a freeride focus, while the Torque V4 is stiffer, faster and more aggressive for freestyle and big air.
