While the twinzer design is experiencing a strong rebirth in interest from surfers and shapers around the world, this is a design concept that Rich Pavel has never strayed away from since its inception. His twinzer design features a high aspect ratio rear fin, coupled with an upright canard fin, both featuring a flat inside foil.

This Pavel twinzer design will allow for tight pivoting turns, blinding speed, and a high degree of sensitivity. This design has been tested in boards from 55 micro-wing fishes to 9+ whale fish and all styles of surf craft in between.
